My main reason for buying this is to make sure I can keep my "single note" sight reading sharp and my fingers moving when I'm traveling between gigs. That being said - this is a real instrument, stays in tune, has accurate intonation, and has a deep mellow tone with a bright attack. The fret ends are smooth and the neck is straight. For around $100 this is a great buy. By way of comparison, my other guitars are a custom made Campellone archtop, a custom William E.
