The revolutionary "see-what-you-play" FBQ frequency indicator shows you which bass frequency corresponds with which fader on your EQ, to assist you in your sound shaping.
On-Board Limiter

Shape Function
The Shape function on the BXL450 provides a revolutionary type of filter that you can use to modify your bass sound in full detail. Extreme filter settings will give your bass sound more power. This little amp is surprisingly powerful and could be used for smaller live gigs. The equalizer works well to shape the sound, but I am still experimenting with the second channel sound manipulations. I wish now that I had gotten the model above this one as the options are even greater. All in all I am definitely satisfied with this model. It looks great and packs quite a punch.I frequently use the RCA hook-ups to plug in a cd player or iPod to play along with songs. I put a lot of songs and bass instructional mp3s on my iPod and can jam along with them. I also use the headphone jack that cuts out the speaker for the late night practices.
